Advanced Search Page Help

The search page is split into the following 6 sections

Product Details	In this section you find search fields that relate to the product details. You can search for a product code using the 'Product code' field or an item code using the 'Item code' field. Simply enter the code or part of the code and the search will retrieve all the products that match your entry. To search for a product name or a product description enter the values into the 'Name/Description' field. By seperating values using a comma the search will treat text inbetween each comma as a seperate value. e.g. "Digi,Edgeport,USB" - The search will retrieve all products that have either Digi or Edgeport or USB as the name or in the description. By default the search will include all product details
Groups	Check the relevant product groups that you wish to find. The search will report all products that fall into the selected groups. By default the search will include all groups.
Sub-Groups	Check the sub groups that hold the products you are interested. Please note that if you have already selected a group from the 'Groups' section any selected subgroup should be within one of the selected Groups. If you are unsure whether a sub group is held within a selected group start a search using the Group fields only. If too many results are returned restart the search using the sub groups only. If you wish to see the structure of the product groups and subgroups use the navigation bar in the menu. By default the search will include all subgroups.
Manufacturers	Here you can filter out any manufacturers products you are searching for. Select as many manufacturers as wish to be included in your search. By default the search will include all manufacturers.
Product Features	Scroll through the selection boxes to filter out the product features that are of interest. Only one value can be selected from each selection box but multiple selection boxes can be used in a search. The search will return all products that match the search criteria created by the selection boxes. By default the search will include all product features.
Group Features	This section is similar to the 'Product Features' section. Scroll through the selection boxes to filter out the features that apply to the product group. By default the search will include all group features.

Checkout Page Help

The CheckOut Page is accessed from the main menu and employs a three step process to buying products online. The entire CheckOut process is carried out over a secure server

Step1: Shopping List	The first step displays a list of items that you have selected whilst browsing the catalogue along with cost information for those items. At this stage you can remove items from your shopping list as well as altering the quantity. To remove items simply check the adjacent box on the left and click 'Remove item'. If you wish to change the quantity enter a new value into the adjacent box on the right and click 'Update'. To clear all the items from your shopping list click 'Empty cart'. Once you are happy with your selection click 'Proceed' to go on to Step2.
Step2: Detail Confirmation	This step allows you to confirm your billing and delivery details as well as giving you the opportunity to review the selected items. Check the details are correct and make any amendments as necessary. If you have purchase order number please enter it into the 'Purchase Order Number' field at the bottom of the page. Once you have checked through the details please click 'Submit Order' to purchase the selected items or click 'Request Quote' to receive a formal quote.
Step3: Request Sent	The final step is displayed once the order/quote is completed. When you see this screen you can close down the window and continue to browse the catalogue. You will receive an emailing confirming your order/quote shortly.

Menu Help

The menu is the main navigational tool for the Entrix-Connect site. Use the icons/links to negate through the site.

	Product code search	Enter the product code or part of the product code that you are looking for into the text field then click 'Go'. The search will return a list of all the products that match the entered value.
	Home	Click this link to return to the home page
	Log in/Change user	Click here to log in to the site and gain access to price detail and the CheckOut page. The description aside the icon will display 'Log in' if you have not logged in to the site and 'Change user' if you are currently logged in.
	Checkout	Click the icon to go to the CheckOut page. You need to be logged in to access this page. If you are not logged in the icon will have a red line going through indicating that the function is not available.
	Advanced search page	This link will take you to the Advanced search page where you can run a detailed product search
	Products	This tree holds all the products available on the site. Click the plus/minus icons to open/close the tree and view the subgroups and products. You can also click on the titles to view the information in the main window.

Product Page Help

On the Product Page you will find all the details pertaining to the selected product

At the top of the page you will find brief contact information for Entrix Computing Ltd. Immediately underneath this is the trolley button. The icon is only available after logging into the site. Click the trolley button to add the displayed product to your list. The text beside the icon will indicate whether the product displayed has added to your list. To remove a product from your list you will need to go to the CheckOut page.
In the following table, underneath the product title, you will find the full product details. Prices will only be displayed if you are logged in. Product pictures are shown where available. Click on the thumbnail to view a larger image. Similarly, links to product datasheets are displayed at the bottom of the page where available. Discounts will only be shown when applicable.

Registration Page Help

You will need to register using the Registration page before you can view the product prices

Simply enter your details into the relevant fields. Once you have completed the form click 'Register Details' to submit the form. Once the details have been sent you will receive an email to let you know that your user name and password have been accepted. You will then be able to log on to the site.
