Liberator from Net2Edge is a Carrier Ethernet platform that allows you to switch off your legacy networks.
With Liberator, you can virtualise your traditional services over Ethernet. Using circuit emulation, Liberator simply translates the signal from frame to packet.
Advances in packet technology, particularly Circuit Emulation Services over Ethernet (CESoE), mean that synchronous services can now be supported reliably and consistently in line with the original Service Level Agreement (SLA).
Liberator supports the complete MEF CE 2.0 service set.
Liberator enables you to transition to IP / Ethernet without impacting your customers. The simple solution to the carriers' dilemma, Liberator, gives you the freedom to:
The Liberator started in England in 1989 with Patapsco, a company that specialised in pseudowire over Ethernet technology. In 2011 Patapsco was acquired by Transition Networks Inc. to bring Patapsco's market leading technology to their own Ethernet capability. In order to leverage the combined expertise from both companies Net2Edge Limited has been created to focus entirely on the Telco carrier and large private network markets. Under the previous brands business critical systems have been provided for customers worldwide for nearly 30 years.
